Free Agenda Templates to keep meetings on time & on point

The meeting agenda can be written in a way that appeals to the way everyone likes to receive and process information. This lifts engagement and participation from all attendees leading to higher levels of team intelligence.

When preparing an agenda I do a pulse check before sharing it to see if the meeting welcomes all thinking approaches:

  • Is there a clear statement defining the desired outcome of the meeting?

  • Have I given people the option to raise topics for the agenda?

  • Is there room in the agenda for open discussion?

  • Are there any processes or models that would assist the desired outcome of the meeting? Eg. decision making and problem solving models.

  • Do the people in the meeting each understand their role in the meeting?

  • Have I included factual evidence to support the need for each topics’ discussion or decision?

  • Have I included an assessment of risk in the proposal? If not, is there space for someone with an orientation toward risk to speak up and be heard?
